Having company or just drink a lot of coffee? This 36 oz pack of High Road Roast ground coffee is for you.
Our High Road is considered a Vienna Roast. A Vienna roast is notable because it's darker than a full city roast but not quite a French roast. There is more oil present on the Vienna roasts than a full city roast. As a Vienna Roast, the High Road takes on more characteristics of a dark roast and does not retain as much of its original characteristics and flavor as a lighter roast would. For a more balanced flavor profile, try our lightest roast—the Daybreak Roast.
Our High Road roast carries notable sweetness and a citrus overtone. It is best for those who want a middle-of-the-road/lighter dark coffee with considerable body and roast.
We offer some of the best organic coffee beans on the market—for the right price. We have worked with our partner farms in Latin America since 2014, sourcing the best beans and bringing them to you.
High Road Roast FAQ:
Is this coffee oily? Being a Vienna Roast, there is more oil present on the bean than the beans of our Daybreak Roast, but less than our Big Rig Roast.
Is this coffee bitter? No. This 100% organic, Arabica dark Vienna roast is on the sweet side of bittersweet and has a bright flavor with notes of citrus.
I like darker coffees—is High Road Roast for me? This ground medium-dark roast is a good choice for any coffee drinker, but if you’re looking for something even darker, try our Big Rig Roast or our Rumble Strip Espresso. This is on the lighter end of the dark roast spectrum.
I’ve never tried Truck Stop Organics. Should I try High Road Roast? Any of our coffees are great for first time customers—it all depends on your preference. New coffee drinkers might prefer the High Road or Daybreak Roast, a medium full city roast slightly lighter than the High Road.
